In summer of 2023, Radford University Art Museum is pleased to host the Radford Art Show! This juried art exhibition of recent works by regional artists is a collaborative partnership between Radford University and the City of Radford. The event has been widely successful in the past, with thanks in part to support from the City of Radford. We welcome juror Travis Head, a Virginia Tech professor of visual art. The show will include awards and cash prizes, and is open to the residents of Radford and the surrounding region of Southwestern Virginia. Entry is open to all artists over the age of 18 working in any media. The exhibition opens in June of 2023, extending through the last weekend of July as to conclude following the Mary Draper Ingles Festival at the heart of Radford. The exhibit, reception, and award announcements will be held at Radford University Art Museum’s Tyler Gallery, at 214 Tyler Avenue on June 9, 2023 from 5-7pm.
