Support the Radford University Planetarium!

 

The Radford University Planetarium is an educational and entertaining resource that has served the university as well as the public at large for over twenty years. It provides a full complement of shows that appeal to audiences of all ages at no cost. 

 

In 2016, the Radford University Planetarium was renovated and upgraded to a state-of-the-art Digistar 5 system located in the 10-meter-diameter dome in the Center for the Sciences. It is estimated that the renovated planetarium has already seen nearly 20,000 visitors with over 800 shows. The goal of the planetarium is to educate audiences about all things astronomical, from the ancient legends of the stars to current knowledge and future exploration of the stars.
